Safely back from Edinburgh to Durham. Thanks to James and Gordon at Towbars to You. After a brief conversation we drove 45 mins to Tillycoultry because they sounded like the right type of people. The Discovery detachable towball was loose and will normally need a new fixed bar as Land rover / Range rover owners are only too aware. Sorted by the guys for the price of a couple of Xmas drinks and 10 mins later back off to campsite in Edinburgh. By the way still waiting a week later for a call back from Pentland Land rover who I can well imagine might have said you need a new fixed bar and just guessing no change from a Thousand pound.Well done James and Gordon. Just had full tow bar fitted to my RR Sport by James. From start to finish nothing was a hassle. Fitted at home and even popped up to fix it on a Sunday. I would highly recommend this company. Perfect service 👌
My trailer was in a sorry state when I gave it to James and Gordon. No bits available for it as it was old. The trailer means a lot to me and Gordon and James. Managed to get all new bits made for it and fitted them all. New axels,breaks,tyres,cables,front end,lights. Nothing was a hassle to them excellent workmanship and customer service highly recommended. Boys are so nice and brilliant at what they do. Trailer is perfect. Won’t go anywhere else now. Customer for life thanks again guys so happy. Trailer bk on the jeep and bk to work. Thanks again guys .

Used Towbars2U because other outfits needed the car delivered to them and left for about 4hours and because James was obviously knowledgeable about the peculiarities of our Volvo. Arrived bang on time and fitted the bar in about 21/2 hours and then explained how it operated with the Volvo Park assist and autobrake. All very efficient and friendly. Great service

I was extremely impressed when I first got in touch with TowBars2U. They took the time to explain the different types of tow bar, wiring kits etc and the prices were extremely competitive.The aftercare from James & Gordon was first class as well when I had a blown fuse affecting the electrics. I’d thoroughly recommend TowBars2U. A*.
James turned up just after 9am and was completely finished by 1pm. No mess on the drive, no unsightly wires or bits hanging under the dash, completely hassle free.Would definitely recommend them for getting a towbar fitted, so much easier than hanging about a caravan centre for hours, just to save 20 quid.

Gordon and James have been fantastic to deal with.Their work on my campervan was not easy from installing the tow bar electrics to repairing a diesel heater and roof turbo vent. Their knowledge and skills in all that they have done is brilliant. With full explanations all the way, as well as the detailed costs, before proceeding.Very neat and tidy workers, a credit to themselves.I have no problems in recommend their services to others.
These guys are great. Came out and fitted a towbar on our X5 and despite there being some unexpected bonding on the body kit, they managed to get it sorted and finished the job to a prefect standard. Highly recommended

The engineer James arrived on time, was very professional, and delivered a good service. James also very helpfully showed me how to attach/detach the tow bar. Tidied up the work place before leaving. They say BUY FROM THE BIG GUYS BECAUSE ITS A WEE BIT CHEAPER , a massive but.You will never get the level of quality service I’ve just had from Towbars2u. Tow bar fitted to my new Audi, price very reasonable and done at your house. Finds out there is an issue with the new Audi so have to get it replaced. New tow bar removed and at really short notice Towbars2u fitted it to the second Audi for a very reasonable price. Just had them back to move the socket on the car, FOC.It definitely pays to use your smaller local businesses. Very knowledgeable and helpful from both Gordon and James.Thank you guys.

I had a lovely guy called James rigby fit a tow trust swan neck tow bar and a 7pin dedicated wire harness to my Kia venga, it was a terrible day the day he fitted it to my car rain the whole day but hands up to him with his dedication he worked for five hours and completed the job and cleaned up all his mess and it was like no one had been there I would highly recommend there company and services to any one needing a tow bar and wiring harness I had no problems with my tow bar or electrics since the fitting and there prices are very competitive I think what they quoted me was a very reasonable price I’m very happy with the service I received.Kind regardsIan
